Harrison & Hetherington (H&H Group) is the UKs leading livestock marketing centre. We are recruiting a Cook to join our busy on-site café team at Borderway Mart, Rosehill, Carlisle . Our café serves large numbers of breakfasts and lunches (up 150 of each) to mart customers, along with refreshments and snacks for visitors and employees throughout the day. The key responsibilities of the role will include: The successful applicant will:

• Have experience cooking and preparing meals in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Have good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach.
• Be flexible, self-motivated and proactive when working as part of a team.
• Be able to work quickly under pressure whilst remaining calm and polite.
• Have an understanding of health and safety and food hygiene requirements within catering.
• Be accurate with kitchen paperwork and record keeping.
