Senior Estimator

Your new role Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator or Senior Estimator to support the pre-construction team in the preparation and delivery of competitive tender submissions across a diverse project portfolio.You will be involved in the full tender lifecycle, working closely with operational, commercial and bid teams to secure future work.Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing estimates and tender submissions from first principles
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing accurate cost plans and pricing strategies
• Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries
• Identifying and assessing commercial risks and opportunities
• Supporting framework submissions and negotiated opportunities
• Preparing tender reports and recommendation documents
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and internal teams
• Supporting successful project handovers to delivery teams What you'll need to succeed
• Previous experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator or Pre-Construction professional
• Background within civil engineering, infrastructure, construction, rail, utilities, highways or a related sector
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of tendering processes
• Ability to interpret technical information and drawings
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
