Financial Analyst

Finance Analyst | Specialty Insurance Group | London (Hybrid) A well-capitalised specialty insurance and reinsurance business is hiring a Finance Analyst to join a growing finance function. It's a business in a genuinely exciting growth phase, one that pairs strong underwriting discipline with real investment in data, analytics and technology. You'll get a broad, hands-on remit split between core reporting and higher-value analysis:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, analysing variances and acting as a go-to contact for queries from across the business
• Support capital and liquidity work: annual plan inputs, multi-year capital planning, and regulatory and credit-rating submissions
• Contribute to regulatory stress testing and reporting processes
• Get involved in ad hoc analysis and evaluation, from scenario modelling to due diligence input on wider corporate projects
• Help drive process improvement across finance, including exploring how AI can make reporting and analysis smarter and simpler What we're looking for:
• Strong analytical skills and genuine curiosity to interrogate the numbers
• Experience interpreting insurance financial results and key ratios
• Robust Excel and financial modelling skills
• Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
