• Ensuring builds are safe, sturdy and fit for purpose
• Working independently or alongside a small production team
• Adapting quickly to different project requirements and timelines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in set building, scenic construction, carpentry, theatre, events, film/TV or similar
• Strong practical construction and making skills
• Comfortable working with common tools and materials
• Able to interpret basic plans, drawings and measurements
• Resourceful, reliable and solutions-focused
• A good eye for detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work to deadlines and within an agreed budget

The opportunity

We're particularly interested in hearing from economical, capable set builders who can take on smaller-scale builds without the need for a full design or production team.

This is an Expression of Interest , so we'll keep your details on file and reach out when a suitable project comes up.
