In the UK, we have a key focus in the Nuclear sector, contributing to ground breaking projects, such as Hinkley Point C (HPC). The Position: Project Manager The Project Manager will lead the effective delivery of an on-site Production Control team, ensuring the team provides accurate, timely and high-quality information to support the successful delivery of Mechanical Electrical and HVAC installations at HPC. Some of the main responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:

  • Lead, manage and develop the Production Control team, providing effective mentoring, coaching and performance management.
  • Monitor team and project performance against agreed targets and key performance indicators, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Produce and oversee standardised project reports, dashboards and performance information for senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and project delivery teams, acting as a key point of contact and facilitating effective communication.

You will have significant exposure to major infrastructure delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders, clients and delivery partners while leading a team and influencing how project performance is monitored and managed. • Strong understanding of project planning and controls, including scheduling, resource management, critical path analysis and monitoring performance against agreed baselines.
  • Experience using project management, data analysis and digital construction tools, including strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI, databases, Navisworks, Synchro or similar systems.
  • Proven experience leading, managing and developing teams, including setting objectives, monitoring performance and supporting the professional development of team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively with clients, contractors, construction teams and senior stakeholders.
