Analytical Scientist

ROLE OVERVIEW We are currently looking for an Analytical Scientist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company, based in the Oxford area. As an Analytical Scientist, you will play a crucial role in routine biochemical and physical analysis on test samples across all projects and stages of solid dose development. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Analytical Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Perform routine biochemical and physical analysis on test samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
2. Accurately record and peer review analysis to ensure data quality and traceability.
3. Compile and present data in relevant meetings, supporting test method optimisation and verification.
4. Deliver comprehensive analytical protocols and technical reports while maintaining high standards in health, safety, and lab operations. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
5. BSc degree in relevant biological sciences.
6. Proven industry experience in a laboratory-based analytical position.
7. Proficiency with UV-Vis, ELISA, HPLC, Karl Fischer, DLS.
8. Understanding of, or experience working in, an analytical QC role may be beneficial.
