Field Service Engineer

Astute's Renewables team is exclusively partnering with a utility scale solar O&M company to recruit a Field Service Engineer for its sites in the Hampshire and Dorset areas. This role comes with a salary of £30,000 – £36,000 DOE, company van and provides an excellent opportunity to move into the utility scale solar world. Responsibilities And Duties Reporting to the Head of Operations you will:

• Assisting with planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements. Learning around reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and standard operating procedures
• Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
• Carrying out site surveys requests as required
• Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
• Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, High Voltage and safety documents that are suitable for audit
• Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
• Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications or equivalent
• C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection
• 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
• Ideally at least a year's experience from within in a maintenance work in either an industrial, commercial or even domestic capacity
• Full UK Licence Personal Skills The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:
