Located in Northampton, our care home offers comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities, and a varied programme of activities designed to promote wellbeing and enhance quality of life. Our friendly and dedicated team is committed to delivering person-centred care, ensuring that every resident is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. By supporting residents to maintain their independence, build meaningful relationships, and enjoy daily activities, we help create a positive and fulfilling living environment for everyone in our care. What will you be doing? As a Care and Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. Supporting older people, including those living with dementia, you will help promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing in a warm and welcoming environment. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support residents with their daily routines, including personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and social activities. You will build positive relationships with residents and their families, encourage meaningful engagement, monitor changes in wellbeing, and contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and homely environment. Based at our purpose-built care home in Northampton, we provide both long-term residential care and short-term respite care, supporting residents to live fulfilling lives while receiving the care they need. We currently have permanent opportunities available for 21, 33, or 36 hours per week. These roles are worked on a rota basis across 7.5-hour shifts between 7:45am and 8:00pm, including alternate weekends and bank holidays where required. You'll be a team player who can also work independently, using your initiative to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice, and independence. Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential. Above all, we are looking for individuals who share our values, have a positive attitude, and are committed to delivering outstanding care. Flexibility is important, as the role involves working a rota pattern, including alternate weekends and bank holidays where required. In return, you'll receive comprehensive training, ongoing support, and opportunities for learning and development within a welcoming and supportive team environment. Whether you're new to care or looking to further your career, we'll help you build the skills and confidence to thrive in the role.
