Project Manager

ROLE SUMMARY The main function of an IT Project Manager is to oversee the application of project management methodologies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. The role is responsible for project design, scope management, cost control, quality management, performance reporting, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery of technology and business application solutions. MUST-HAVE CRITERIA

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Open to Project Managers from financial services and/or insurance backgrounds.
• Presentable with strong communication and articulation skills, as the candidate will be presenting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Trilingual proficiency is mandatory:
• Cantonese
• Mandarin
• English
• Minimum 8 years of experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.
• Manage project resources, including procuring project staff and developing, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
• Partner closely with other members of cross-functional project teams to define business requirements.
• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Define test plans and ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process.
• Develop rollout plans and procedures.
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to steering committees and project sponsors.
• Manage project risks and competing priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with business partners and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience for Level III & IV.
• Proven project management experience.
• Strong people management and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable when exercising judgment in a changing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly.
• Strong ability to work effectively with business partners at different levels within the organization.
• Strong ability to assess risks and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions within a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment. GOOD-TO-HAVE CRITERIA
• PMP or PMI certification.
• Agile knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
