About the Role As the Project SME, you will support a large-scale Markets Operations transformation programme within a Global Bank. Markets operations. The role requires strong Global Markets Operations expertise, particularly across FX / derivatives / bonds / repos, combined with practical project delivery and business analysis experience. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse current operational processes and define changes required to achieve the target operating model.
• Map workflows, control points, dependencies and process gaps across Operations teams.
• Gather and document business, user and functional requirements.
• Assess functionality gaps between local and regional platform versions.
• Coordinate with Operations, Front Office, Finance, Risk, Technology, Project Managers and Business Analysts.
• Support functional testing, UAT, defect resolution and user acceptance.
• Prepare for system rehearsals, production cutover, go-live and post-implementation support.
• Support process re-engineering and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Define activities for transition to centralized or offshore teams.
• Coordinate training, knowledge transfer and operational readiness. Key Requirements
• Strong knowledge of Global Markets products, operational processes and trade lifecycles.
• Practical experience across FX forwards, FX options, interest-rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, equity derivatives, bonds, repos and reverse repos.
• Experience with trade validation, confirmations, settlements, clearing, reconciliations and lifecycle events.
• Previous involvement in system upgrades, platform migrations, UAT and production implementation.
• Project management or business analysis experience across Agile or Waterfall delivery.
• Strong process-mapping, requirements-gathering and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of target operating models, process transformation and offshore transitions.
• Experience with platforms such as CLS, Misys, Bloomberg, Euroclear or BNY would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI, project management and process-documentation tools would be beneficial.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Organized, adaptable and able to deliver within tight deadlines and global team environments.
