Senior Python Engineer

Senior Python Engineer (Fintech / Greenfield) A lot of Senior Python roles are just maintaining existing systems - this one is a little different. I'm recruiting a Senior Python Engineer to help build a new decisioning and modelling platform for a profitable Fintech scale-up. The platform is used by credit risk and pricing teams to test the impact of lending decisions and complex business scenarios before they're implemented. You'll be one of the first software-engineering-focused hires in this team, with real influence over architecture, engineering standards and technical direction. It's a genuinely hands-on role where you'll help turn existing tooling into a scalable, secure, production-grade platform. We're looking for someone who's taken products from idea to production, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants the autonomy to make a meaningful impact. Tech-wise, it's heavily Python-focused with AWS, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes and modern engineering practices. Salary to £70k + shares + wide-ranging benefits.
