Field Services Engineer

Field Service Engineer | Northern Ireland | £38,000 + Company Van I'm currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business supporting specialist automated equipment across the UK. This is a genuinely hands-on field role, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding, maintenance, repairs and working directly with customers. The role:

• Service, maintain and repair automated industrial equipment
• Carry out inspections, routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Support installation and commissioning of new systems
• Assist with equipment upgrades and software updates
• Provide technical support and training to customers
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Manage your own schedule and customer travel
• Regular UK travel with overnight stays
• Occasional international travel for training What we're looking for:
• Level 3 electrical and mechanical engineering qualification/experience or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience working with machinery or industrial equipment
• Excellent electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience in maintenance, repair or field service
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable with regular UK travel and overnight stays
• Self-motivated and confident working independently
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills Package:
