Director Product Development

Your new company We are partnering with a Leading Life Insurance organisation to appoint an experienced Director, Product Development (Life Insurance & Savings) to join its growing team. Renowned for its strong market presence and customer-centric approach, the company continues to invest in product innovation and customer experience across multiple distribution channels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile function responsible for developing and enhancing products, supporting key business initiatives, and driving sustainable growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across product, distribution, operations, actuarial, marketing and business functions to bring new ideas and solutions to market. The underlying role is responsible for driving product development and implementation initiatives within the life insurance business Your new role

• Support the development and enhancement of insurance products to meet evolving customer and business needs
• Lead product initiatives from concept through to implementation and launch
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver product enhancement, business growth and customer experience initiatives
• Coordinate with distribution and business teams to develop product propositions and support market opportunities
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product implementation and operational readiness
• Support the preparation and review of product-related materials, customer communications and launch documentation
• Monitor product performance, market developments and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
• Participate in business planning, project management and strategic initiatives related to product development
• Ensure product initiatives comply with applicable governance, risk management and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to ongoing product maintenance, enhancement and continuous improvement activities What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline
• 8+ years of experience within life insurance product development, product management, proposition development or related functions
• Experienced with Life Insurance and Savings Products
• Strong understanding of product implementation processes with project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese What you'll get in return
