Civil Design Engineer

Civil Design Engineer – Central London Location: Central London – near London Bridge Working: Hybrid Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Role: Permanent I'm currently working with a forward-thinking civil engineering consultancy based in one of the nicest offices in the City, who are looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to their growing London team. This is a great opportunity for a civil engineer who wants to work on technically interesting projects, take on increasing responsibility and develop their career within a modern, ambitious consultancy. The role You'll be involved in the design and delivery of civil engineering schemes across a range of sectors, with particular exposure to:

• Drainage design
• Highways and infrastructure
• SuDS
• External works
• S278 / S38
• Flood risk and surface water management
• Civil engineering design from concept through to detailed design
• Working closely with structural engineers, architects, developers and other project stakeholders What they're looking for
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
• Previous consultancy experience
• Experience with drainage, highways and/or SuDS design
• Ideally some experience with relevant design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider project team
