• Grounderworkers / Drainlayers Location
• Stansted Airport We are currently recruiting experienced Groundworkers / Drainlayers to join a major infrastructure project based at Stansted Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team delivering large-scale, high-profile works. The Role
• As a Groundworker / Drainlayer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage and groundwork operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Key Responsibilities
• Installation of drainage systems including clay, plastic, and concrete pipework
• Construction of manholes, chambers, and associated structures
• Carrying out trenching, benching, and concreting works
• Working from drawings and laser levels to set out accurate levels and gradients
• Ensuring correct alignment of pipelines
• Collaborating with machine operators and site teams
• Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times Requirements
• CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue Card) – essential
• Proven experience in groundworks or drainage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable and team-oriented approach
• Right to work in the UK Desirable
• CPCS / NPORS tickets (Dumper, Roller, Excavator)
• Confined Spaces training
• Previous drainage or pipelaying experience What We Offer
