Data Engineer

We are working with a leading technology and people solutions company that supports large-scale data exploitation programmes within significant public sector and government initiatives. They are dedicated to delivering innovative data solutions and fostering a collaborative, agile environment. The Role

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Talend
• Build, optimise, and maintain Oracle SQL queries and DDL artefacts
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects throughout development and testing phases
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives What You'll Need
• Strong hands-on experience developing ETL solutions using Talend
• Proven experience working with Oracle databases, ideally Oracle RDS, and strong SQL development skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably GitLab, and structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams
• Eligible for Security Clearance (SC) and able to pass BPSS screening What's On Offer
