Finance Manager

3 Point Recruitment are hiring a Finance Manager for a profitable, ambitious & reputable SME based near Alcester. This role is needed ASAP with shortlisting taking place immediately! Reporting into the SLT, you will be the go-to person within the business for Finance matter & working closely with the external Accountancy Firm at year-end & during audit. You'll tighten reporting, control & give running commentary to the Directors, providing clear insight & reports. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys pace, autonomy and being close to commercial decision making. The business wants an experienced Finance leader who ideally is formally Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) but candidates who are QBE will also be considered if they have the relevant experience. Duties Will Include

• Lead monthly management accounts with accurate, timely reporting and clear commentary
• Maintain strong balance sheet control and improve processes across the function
• Partner with operational teams to provide useful insight and commercial support
• Oversee cashflow, working capital, debtors/creditors and daily financial discipline
• Manage and develop the Finance team, creating clarity, ownership and high standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting with meaningful variance analysis
• Take responsibility for VAT returns and ensure ledgers, payments and credit control run smoothly
• Oversee stock, margin and payroll administration
• Improve systems, reporting and workflows as the business scales
• Help build a proactive, commercially focused Finance function A salary band of £45,000 to £55,000 is attached plus a 10% bonus based on company performance.
