DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer | AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform | Remote, £70k–£80k I'm currently supporting a specialist technology consultancy delivering complex software solutions across Central Government. They're looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join an Agile engineering team, working across large-scale programmes and helping to build new bespoke software solutions. This is a hands-on DevOps role focused on building, creating and improving environments rather than purely operational work. The role:

• Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes environments
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated processes
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Work with Docker and containerised applications
• Build new environments and support the development of secure software products
• Improve infrastructure performance, availability and resilience
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
• Work closely with developers, technical teams and customers What we're looking for:
• Around 4–8 years' commercial experience
• Strong AWS experience
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker experience
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and automation
• Ideally someone who started in software development before moving into DevOps
• Experience building and operating cloud environments Security requirements:
• Must be eligible for SC clearance
