Global Equity Research Analyst

Our client is a global investment management firm who is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to join the Global Equities platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of sectors, aligned with their background and experience. Working alongside an experienced team of investors, they will play a key role in driving stock selection across a range of long-only equity strategies including Global, International and European funds. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on listed companies across global markets
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts and valuation frameworks
• Generate differentiated investment insights through rigorous analysis of industries, competitive dynamics and company fundamentals
• Monitor macroeconomic, sector and company-specific developments relevant to portfolio holdings and prospective investments
• Prepare clear, high-quality research reports and discuss recommendations with portfolio managers
• Engage directly with company management teams, industry experts and sell-side research professionals
• Collaborate closely with other analysts and portfolio managers, actively contributing to research meetings and portfolio discussions Candidate Requirements
• 4-8 years of experience in buy-side fundamental research, candidates from the sell-side will not be considered
• Strong academic credentials and CFA qualification
• Genuine passion for investing and public markets, with a long-term mindset
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Ability to form independent views and communicate investment ideas with conviction and clarity
• Collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for working within a high-performing investment team
• Low ego with a willingness to learn and challenge ideas constructively
