🚀 Fullstack Developer (React / TypeScript / Java) | Manchester (Contract) We're hiring a hands-on Fullstack Engineer to join our Search & Discovery squad in Manchester on a contract basis! If you thrive in agile environments, love pairing on code, and want to build high-impact customer-facing search interfaces, this role is for you. Key Details
- Location: Manchester, UK
- Role Type: Contract
- Experience Level: 2–4 years/8-10 years What You'll Be Doing
- Building responsive user interfaces in React & TypeScript backed by Java microservices.
- Partnering with product leads, architects, and UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into production-ready web features.
- Participating in active pair programming, technical discussions, and sprint sessions.
- Writing clean unit/integration tests to ensure stability and low technical debt. What We're Looking For
- Core Tech Stack: Solid experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Java.
- Backend & Web: Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and relational databases.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with basic cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Skills & Mindset: Strong team communicator, customer-focused problem solver, and comfortable with hands-on technical pair-programming sessions.
