Data Architect

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role

• Own the architecture and design of scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective data solutions for business and regulatory programs.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-agnostic technologies to deliver strategic business outcomes.
• Create, document, and present architecture artifacts, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Assess emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and identify opportunities to enhance data capabilities.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust data solutions that deliver measurable impact.
• Champion best practices in architecture, data governance, security, quality, compliance, and operational excellence. What You'll Need
• Strong skills in designing resilient, flexible, and secure data pipelines with Google Cloud or other cloud vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience in designing ETL/ELT pipelines, working with structured and unstructured data, and analysing datasets.
• Experience with core cloud capabilities, including data ingestion, data warehousing, object storage, orchestration, monitoring, security, and data processing services.
• Experience in implementing data governance frameworks, cyber security frameworks, and operation models.
• Enthusiasm for diagnosing and solving business problems with data and cutting-edge technology, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions and architectures, including knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and associated tooling is advantageous. What's On Offer
