Are you an experienced Machinist looking to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business? We are seeking a skilled individual with a strong machining background to support production and refurbishment activities within a busy workshop environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional engineering team, working on high-quality components and contributing to the delivery of critical projects across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional and/or CNC machine tools.
• Manufacture and refurbish components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Carry out machining activities safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring equipment and gauges.
• Ensure work is completed to required tolerances and quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working as a Machinist within a manufacturing, engineering, or workshop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team-focused approach with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Relevant engineering or machining qualifications would be advantageous.
