DevOps Engineer (Python / Infrastructure Automation) – Trading Firm – London – £140,000 + generous bonus I'm working with a London-based trading firm that's investing in automating its infrastructure, and they're hiring a Python-strong DevOps engineer to lead that work.

  • Established, technology-driven trading business
  • Small, collaborative engineering team
  • Real appetite to modernise how infrastructure is built and run This role is weighted towards engineering rather than operations. You'll sit within the infrastructure team and focus on replacing manual work with reliable, repeatable automation. What you'll be working on:
  • Owning and developing internal infrastructure tooling
  • Driving infrastructure-as-code across the estate
  • Automating deployment, patching and configuration
  • Improving observability and reliability What they're looking for:
  • Strong, current professional Python
  • Deep hands-on Linux knowledge
  • A track record of automating infrastructure at scale
  • Solid networking and security fundamentals
  • Clear views on how modern infrastructure should be built What's on offer:
  • £140,000 + discretionary bonus
  • Genuine ownership and influence from day one
  • Strong benefits package
  • No finance or trading experience required If your background is in DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering, whether at a Trading Firm, Big Tech or any Large-Scale Environment, this is a role worth a conversation. If you are interested, please apply! Alternatively, feel free to reach out to david@durlstonpartners.com for a confidential discussion.
