Electrical Fitter – HV/LV Power Distribution South Yorkshire - UK Wide projects Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a specialist power distribution contractor based in South Yorkshire. Working across industrial and infrastructure projects throughout the UK, you will support the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of HV and LV power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and associated systems. Key Responsibilities

• Offload, assemble, and install transformers and switchgear.
• Install HV and LV cabling, containment systems, and associated electrical equipment.
• Terminate LV power and control cables where qualified and authorised.
• Support maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and repair activities on power distribution assets.
• Work safely under site safety documentation and the direction of Authorised Persons (AP), Senior Authorised Persons (SAP), or other qualified personnel.
• Complete risk assessments, maintenance records, test documentation, and site reports.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK as required. Required Qualifications
• Experience in electrical fitting, industrial installation, power distribution, or a related electrical field.
• Experience working with transformers, switchgear, or HV/LV cable systems.
• Time-served apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and work on projects throughout the UK. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in HV/LV testing and maintenance environments.
