Production Manager

Lion Rock Group is a leading international book printing and print management group. Operating through our specialist print management subsidiary, Asia Pacific Offset Limited, we partner with top publishers across the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand to deliver fine bookmaking, high-end color printing, and bespoke publishing solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated talent to join our Hong Kong production team. Role Overview In this position, you will serve as the primary operational hub between international office teams, clients, and production facilities in Mainland China. You will manage end-to-end project workflows, safeguard product quality standards, and ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end print manufacturing processes from order placement to final delivery.
• Act as the daily operational bridge between overseas offices, clients, and factory partners.
• Conduct irregular travel to Mainland China offices and printing plants for press checks, sample inspections, and project follow-ups.
• Perform proofing reviews, sample approvals, and technical troubleshooting to resolve quality or timeline variances promptly.
• Evaluate production quotes, optimize vendor pricing, and manage timelines under tight delivery windows. Applicants should hold an HKDSE / Form 5 education or above with a solid background in printing or publishing, alongside deep technical expertise in offset, digital printing, and paper grades. The ideal candidate is meticulous, proactive, highly organized, and skilled in communication and problem-solving under tight deadlines. Candidates must be willing to undertake irregular travel to Mainland China plants and possess strong written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin capabilities. Candidates with less experience or a foundational background in printing, paper, or packaging are welcome to apply and will be considered for the Production Controller role.
