REED Engineering are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer who thrives on improving processes, solving production challenges and driving operational excellence. You'll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations
• Analysing production processes and identifying efficiency gains
• Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions
• Supporting new product introductions and process development
• Reducing waste, improving productivity and optimising workflows
• Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards
• Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation and procedures
• Supporting engineering projects from concept through to implementation

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience of continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or Six Sigma principles
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Engineering qualification desirable but not essential

Salary & Benefits

• £38,000 - £43,000 salary

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:15pm

Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
