Technology Lead

Technology Lead – AWS & Python Location: Nottingham, UK Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Python development and AWS Cloud services to support the design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python backend development using frameworks such as Django, AWS serverless technologies, API development, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Cloud. The role also requires strong technical design, problem-solving, communication, and Agile delivery skills. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python and frameworks such as Django.
• Work with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and AppSync.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Cloud.
• Follow software engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and pair programming.
• Participate in Agile development and delivery activities.
• Contribute to technical design, documentation, and implementation.
• Support knowledge transfer and smooth transition of responsibilities between team members.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Mandatory Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• AWS Lambda.
• Amazon DynamoDB.
• AWS RDS.
• AWS AppSync.
• RESTful API development and/or GraphQL.
• GitLab Cloud CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes. Preferred Experience
