Assistant Site Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and surveying across groundworks and civil engineering activities
• Providing technical support to the Site Management team
• Checking drawings, specifications and site measurements
• Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with design and specification
• Completing quality assurance and site documentation
• Monitoring levels, coordinates and tolerances
• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
• Assisting with resolving technical issues on site
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress Requirements The successful candidate will have:
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years' experience working on groundworks and highways projects
• Strong setting-out and surveying experience
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience working on highway construction projects
• Excellent attention to detail and technical ability
• Ability to work effectively alongside Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors
• Relevant site-based experience within the UK .
