🚨 SC CLEARED COMMERCIAL MANAGERS – L3 & L4 🚨 I'm recruiting for two senior Commercial opportunities supporting a Defence programme at Abbey Wood, Bristol. 🇬🇧 UK Nationals only 🔐 Active SC Clearance required 📍 Abbey Wood, Bristol – Hybrid 📅 1st October 2026 – 31st March 2027 💼 Inside IR35 🔹 L3 COMMERCIAL MANAGER 💷 Up to £625/day 📍 Abbey Wood – Hybrid 📅 6 months initially This role sits within a structured Defence commercial environment and will focus on developing commercial strategies and supporting wider commercial activity. Key responsibilities: ✔️ Develop and deliver commercial strategies ✔️ Support commercial activity using GCA frameworks ✔️ Manage complex commercial and contractual activity ✔️ Work closely with key stakeholders across the programme ✔️ Support sourcing and wider commercial delivery Experience we're particularly interested in: ✔️ Strong working knowledge of GCA commercial frameworks ✔️ MOD / Defence commercial experience ✔️ Commercial strategy development ✔️ Contract management / sourcing experience ✔️ Experience relating to Qualifying Defence Contracts (QDCs) ✔️ Understanding of ITAR requirements ✔️ Direct US Commercial Sales experience would be advantageous 🔹 L4 SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER 💷 Up to £750/day 📍 Abbey Wood – Hybrid 📅 6 months initially This is a more strategic commercial leadership role, working across a complex Defence environment rather than focusing on one individual commercial area. Key responsibilities: ✔️ Lead complex senior stakeholder engagement ✔️ Build and maintain strong relationships across the programme ✔️ Support the management of complex contractual matters ✔️ Provide strategic commercial direction ✔️ Oversee a portfolio of commercial activity ✔️ Provide guidance and oversight to a team of commercial staff ✔️ Work closely with existing senior commercial leads as part of a collaborative leadership group We're looking for someone with: ✔️ Significant MOD / Defence commercial experience ✔️ Strong strategic commercial leadership ✔️ Complex contract and portfolio management experience ✔️ Excellent senior stakeholder management ✔️ Experience leading / overseeing commercial teams ✔️ Confidence navigating sensitive and complex commercial situations ✔️ Strong relationship-building and communication skills ✔️ A collaborative approach to leadership ⚡ Both requirements are moving quickly.
