Kotlin Backend Engineer

🚀 Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Engineer | Central London | Freelance | Inside IR35 We're looking for a Senior Kotlin/Java Backend Engineer to join a Mobile Engineering team, building the Backend for Frontend (BFF) service layer for a new iOS and Android travel application. This is a hands-on senior role combining Kotlin development, backend architecture, cloud technologies and technical leadership. Key skills:

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong Kotlin and Java 17+ experience
• Microservices / Backend for Frontend
• Spring + Maven or Gradle
• Cloud & CI/CD
• GitHub Actions / CircleCI
• Observability: Sentry, ELK or Dynatrace
• Technical leadership within Agile teams
