at Fluid Motion Theatre CompanyTrustee of Fluid Motion Theatre Company We are looking for people with limited trustee experience. No experience is necessary. About Fluid Motion Theatre Company Fluid Motion Theatre Company is an award winning arts and health charity based in Totton, Hampshire. Founded in 2010 by Ali Gill and Leigh Johnstone, the organisation was created from a belief that theatre and creative activity can help people understand themselves, connect with others and improve their mental health and wellbeing. Our work is rooted in lived experience. Fluid Motion was founded by people who experienced poor mental health as children and found creativity to be a powerful tool for coping, expression and recovery. That experience continues to shape how we work today. Since opening Totton Creative Hub in 2024, Fluid Motion has developed from a project-based theatre company into a year-round creative wellbeing provider. The hub gives us a visible home on Totton high street, where children, young people, families and community partners can access creative activity locally and consistently. We use theatre, arts and craft, dance, music, exhibitions and creative play to support mental health, confidence, emotional regulation, connection and personal development.
