Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Site/Section Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in Gatwick. Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out and manage all setting out activities on site.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
• Maintain accurate site records, surveys and as-built information.
• Monitor quality standards and undertake regular inspections.
• Assist with the preparation and review of RAMS and site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Support programme delivery and progress reporting.
• Oversee subcontractor works and ensure adherence to project standards. Skills & Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer within groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of setting out using surveying equipment including GPS and Total Stations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate engineering records and site documentation.
• Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• CSCS Card
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid at Work
