Mobile Gas Engineer

Title: Mobile Gas Engineer (Commercial) Requisition ID: 12179 Location: Based from HMP Leicester – covering regional sites) Contract: Permanent | Full-time 39 hours per week (08:00–17:00) + 1 in 4 weekends (15% shift allowance) Salary: £35,504 – £44,830 (depending on experience) + van & fuel card Be part of something new We're building a brand-new Mobile Team supporting the Ministry of Justice—and this is your chance to join from day one. • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
• Servicing and inspecting appliances, including combustion analysis & testing
• Working on boilers, heaters, water systems and ventilation
• Supporting upgrades, installations and minor works
• Ensuring safe, compliant working in line with industry and site standards What We're Looking For
• Gas Safe registered with commercial qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/A)
• Experience working on commercial gas systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
• Full UK driving licence
