Graduate Client Service Associate
CityGradWe are looking for ambitious and interpersonal graduates to join a leading global brokerage and financial technology company servicing the financial markets, operating across multiple asset classes, trading venues, and client segments. The Client Services function combines relationship management, client support, and application data administration into a single, client-facing team. As a Client Services Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for internal and external clients using the trading platforms. This is an entry level, client-facing role that amalgamates three disciplines: client relationship support, client functionality and some technical support, and application data administration. This is first and foremost a client-service role, a genuine desire to help clients matters more than any particular background, and technical skills can be taught. Client Relationship & Support
- Act as a first point of contact for trading platform users, delivering courteous, professional and timely client service by phone, email, MS Teams, Bloomberg or in person.
- Support clients and assist with platform adoption, increasing client awareness of added functionality, features, and available services. Functional and Technical Support
- Provide support, resolving issues and escalating where required, ensuring full audit trails are maintained in the service desk tool.
- Perform daily system and application health checks, monitoring platform status and trade flows throughout the day.
- Develop a strong understanding of pre- and post-trade workflows, including market data publishing, order entry and trade execution. Application Data Support
- Set up and maintain internal and external user access to Front Office trading applications across all asset classes, in line with compliance and regulatory processes.
- Support client onboarding, customer-side mappings, instrument setups, and time-sensitive data requests, liaising with all stakeholders internal (e.g. brokers) and external (e.g. vendors). General
- Be alert to Conduct Risk issues, specifically the risk of harm to client interests, market integrity and/or competition in financial markets.
- Keep up to date with current regulations relevant to the platforms and the client base. Requirements
- Eager to learn and develop within Financial Markets.
- Interest in financial markets and trading.
- Strong client service and communication skills.
- Proactive, organised and detail oriented.
- Analytical with a problem-solving mindset.
- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
