• Hybrid – 2 in office, 3 from home An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BD Manager to lead strategic BD activity within a high-performing Government sector group at a leading national law firm. This role forms a key part of a growing BD function and will suit someone who thrives on building strong relationships, shaping market strategy and driving targeted initiatives that deliver measurable impact. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, working closely with the Senior BD Manager to lead to develop and implement a clear, insight-driven strategy. The role involves deep market engagement, proactive planning and hands-on delivery across client development, new business targeting, profile raising and campaigns. This position would suit an ambitious BD professional with strong communication skills, excellent organisational ability and the confidence to challenge and advise senior partners. Candidates must have gained experience in another law firm and either have experience in supporting public sector clients, or a genuine interest in working within this area. The role is also open to those who have worked in marketing or development roles within public sector bodies and can demonstrate their ability to transition to a professional services environment and work with senior stake holders.
