Litigation Solicitor

Role As a Litigation Solicitor, you will take responsibility for managing and progressing a varied caseload while working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.   Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and progressing your own litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution.
• Analysing matters and providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.
• Working across a variety of disputes, including debt recovery, contract, commercial, insolvency, landlord and tenant, and employment matters.
• Managing deadlines effectively and ensuring matters progress efficiently and in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues and other parties throughout each matter.
• Working independently while having the confidence to seek guidance and collaborate with colleagues where appropriate.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard and in accordance with regulatory and professional obligations.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the litigation practice and the wider firm.   You will be trusted to take ownership of your caseload while being part of a collaborative team where knowledge, ideas and experience are shared.   About You We are looking for a solicitor who combines strong technical ability with excellent organisation, communication and commercial awareness.   You will:
• Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of two years' PQE, ideally with experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other professionals.
• Have experience managing your own caseload and competing priorities.
• Understand the importance of deadlines and be able to prioritise your workload effectively to ensure they are met calmly and efficiently.
• Have a positive, can-do attitude and the tenacity to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Be comfortable analysing complex matters and identifying the key legal and commercial issues.
• Be confident working independently while recognising when collaboration or additional guidance would benefit a matter.
• Be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, spending time in the office while also working effectively from home when appropriate.
• Understand that everyone contributes to the success of the firm and be motivated to work towards business, financial, team and personal objectives.
