Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and enhance the Mobile Service Layer (Backend for Frontend) powering mobile applications used by millions of cardholders globally. You'll work closely with engineers, product teams, designers and QA to build scalable API services and interactive mobile experiences. Must-Have Skills

• Develop and maintain the Mobile Service Layer / Backend for Frontend (BFF).
• Build scalable server-side applications and APIs.
• Develop integrations with backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable and high-quality code.
• Refactor and modernise legacy code where required.
• Implement asynchronous services and optimise application performance.
• Develop and maintain unit tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design and QA teams.
• Design solutions for complex and open-ended technical problems.
