Warehouse and Dispatch Manager

Job Duties We are looking for an experienced Warehouse and Dispatch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy warehouse. This is a hands-on management role. We need someone who can lead the warehouse team, keep operations organised and efficient and is equally comfortable getting stuck in on the warehouse floor when required. ·       Oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. ·       Lead, support and organise the warehouse team. ·       Plan workloads and ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. ·       Managing kit building and hose assembly processes, output and staff ·       Monitor stock movements and support stock accuracy and stock control. ·       Ensuring deadlines are met. ·       General warehouse housekeeping ·       Management of ad hoc warehouse requirements ·       Ensure health and safety is a consideration at all times and that there is no contravention of the Health and Safety Policy ·       Reporting to senior management ·       Drive efficiency in the role Qualifications/experience: ·       At least two years of experience in a warehouse environment ·       A responsible attitude ·       Ability to make decisions under pressure. ·       Remain calm and patient. ·       Have the ability to lead and motivate others. ·       Accuracy at record keeping. ·       IT skills ·       Able to prioritise your own work and that of other people. ·       Time management ·       Valid forklift licence ·       Clean driving licence   Job Specifics:   ·       Full-time role ·       The role will be 100% on site at the Hamilton Gas warehouse in Bangor.
