Interim Group Treasurer

Day rate: £1300-£1700 per day Travel: UK based with required travel to Germany Eton Bridge are partnered with a large division of a listed Group that has come under new ownership and is being carved out. We are looking to secure an executive Group Treasurer on a contract basis to lead the function through this transition as well as advise on the longer-term team structure for the business. Initially this mandate will span 6 months with a likelihood to extend. It will require time in Germany weekly. Travel and accommodation will be covered. Overall responsibilities:

• Lead the treasury finance team of 20 people.
• Assess the structure and headcount of the team under new ownership and what a future-state team structure would be.
• Implement and improve upon the cash flow forecasting of the business.
• Assist with the separation of treasury operations from the Group and take ownership for the standalone treasury deliverables.
• Maintain and develop banking relationships. Previously these relationships were held at the Group level.
• Oversee the new capital structure and maintain reporting and risk measures on it.
• Advise on FX hedging and IR risk hedging initiatives.
• Liquidity risk management.
• Guide the business on working capital initiatives.
• Intercompany loan management.
• Act as the strategic conduit for the CFO on all treasury matters.
• Work closely with the new owners to optimise liquidity in the business.
• Implement cash management solutions to optimise liquidity. Requirements:
• 20+ years of corporate treasury experience.
• Must have led large treasury teams for multi-billion-euro businesses with complex operating models.
• Experience in manufacturing advantageous.
• Understanding and track-record of delivering at the Group Treasurer level for PE-backed multinationals.
