Cyber Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and identify potential cyber threats.
• Investigate security incidents, malware, phishing, and suspicious activities.
• Analyze security logs and network traffic.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans.
• Respond to and document cybersecurity incidents.
• Maintain and monitor SIEM, EDR, firewall, and antivirus tools.
• Identify security weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with threat detection, incident response, and security investigations.
• Prepare security reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Follow security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Stay updated on new cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. Key Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic to strong knowledge of networking, Linux, Windows, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, firewalls, and common cyber attacks.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Nmap, or vulnerability scanners.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot security incidents.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage.
• Freshers can apply with relevant academic projects, certifications, or hands-on lab experience.
• Experienced candidates should have relevant cybersecurity/SOC experience and practical knowledge of security tools.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
