Class 1 Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new adventure? Want to hit the road with a company that's all about making life better and every journey worthwhile? Here at GXO we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our new site in Wellingborough. You'll be part of a team that works closely together to keep operations on track and ensure deliveries are completed efficiently. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days form 7' pattern, contracted to 48 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following patterns:

• Day shifts with start times between 09:00 and 12:00
• Day shifts with start times between 12:00 and 15:00
• Afternoon shifts starting at 14:00
• Night shifts starting at 22:00 This role requires a degree of flexibility to work weekends in line with business needs. Pay, benefits and more:
• An annual salary of £45,200.00

• Carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements
• Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
