Cleaner

Location: Shopping Centre, Kendal

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm (30 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Kendal. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors and staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail and can work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining communal areas throughout the shopping centre.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of rubbish correctly.
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing consumables such as toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Spot cleaning glass, doors and high-traffic touchpoints.
• Responding promptly to any spillages or cleaning requirements.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or damage to the relevant team.

PLEASE NOTE - The business is looking for someone to start ASAP so this position would suit those that don't have a notice period.
