Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Programming languages: Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages — Golang or Java.
- Cloud-native operations: Practical, hands-on cloud-native experience.
- Envoy: Professional experience with Envoy Proxy or Envoy Gateway.
- API design: Strong understanding of the OpenAPI Specification (OAS) for RESTful APIs.
- Authentication & authorization: Hands-on experience implementing authentication and authorization at the gateway, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT validation, and mutual TLS (mTLS). DevOps toolchain: Expertise across the DevOps toolchain, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform
