Finance Controller 📍 Blackmill, Bridgend | Full-Time Shape Financial Performance. Influence Strategy. Drive Growth. We're looking for an experienced Finance Controller to join Coppice, a growing manufacturing business where finance plays a critical role in driving operational and commercial success. This is more than a traditional reporting role. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll provide financial insight, strengthen controls, improve profitability, and help guide strategic decision-making across the business. What You'll Be Doing ✅ Leading monthly management accounts and board reporting ✅ Driving budgeting, forecasting and financial planning ✅ Managing cashflow, working capital and financial performance ✅ Strengthening financial controls, governance and compliance ✅ Supporting strategic business decisions through insightful analysis ✅ Leading external audit and statutory reporting activities ✅ Developing and mentoring members of the finance team ✅ Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains ✅ Acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the organisation What We're Looking For

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in a Finance Controller, Financial Manager or similar senior finance role
• Manufacturing sector experience
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting expertise
• Excellent analytical and commercial awareness
• Confident communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate others
