Area Manager - Parks

The Parks and Greenspace service work together to manage and maintain the councils parks, greenspaces, play areas and trees. We are looking for an Area Manager to support the services Ground Maintenance team in its goal to ensure that every area of the Kirklees district has access to safe, welcoming, high-quality parks and green spaces. As Area Manager you will be responsible for the management of our grounds maintenance services across the Kirklees district. The grounds maintenance team carries out works on Parks, recreation grounds, sports pitches, schools, cemeteries, highway verges, public open spaces and council house gardens. You will be required to work at all times in a professional and safe manner and to ensure that all works carried out by your teams are undertaken without risk to the public or themselves.
