This is much more than a traditional FM role. It's a highly visible position where you'll be responsible for creating a workplace that people genuinely want to come into, while making sure the facilities operation behind the scenes runs seamlessly. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite level employees, lead the onsite workplace team and manage a range of outsourced service partners across both hard and soft FM. The role will suit someone who enjoys being front and centre, building relationships, solving problems and constantly looking at how the workplace experience can be improved. What you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading the day-to-day workplace and facilities operation across a busy corporate HQ
  • Managing hard and soft FM services, ensuring SLAs, KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved
  • Leading and developing the onsite workplace team
  • Managing outsourced suppliers across areas including engineering, cleaning, security and catering/F&B
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and becoming a trusted point of contact onsite

  • Taking ownership of workplace compliance, Health & Safety and operational standards
  • Identifying issues before they become problems and driving continuous improvement
  • Supporting workplace events, employee engagement initiatives, moves and changes
  • Managing reporting, supplier performance, purchase orders and wider commercial processes
  • Creating a consistently high-quality workplace experience for employees and visitors What we're looking for:
  • Strong Workplace or Facilities Management experience within a corporate environment
  • Good knowledge of both hard and soft FM, rather than being purely workplace or hospitality focused
  • Experience managing outsourced suppliers and service partners
  • Previous team management experience
  • Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and C-suite level individuals
  • Strong communication skills with the maturity, credibility and gravitas to take ownership
  • Someone proactive, resilient and comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • A genuine passion for workplace experience and customer service
  • F&B or catering experience would be useful, although it isn't essential
  • This environment needs someone who is highly visible, personable and confident in their own ability. You'll need to be comfortable making decisions, challenging where necessary and ensuring the workplace consistently operates at a high standard. A fantastic opportunity to take real ownership of a flagship workplace, work with senior stakeholders and join an environment where there is plenty to learn and genuine opportunity to progress.
