About The Role This major city-based international bank is seeking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst with a strong focus on PowerBI to join their dynamic Operations Business Management team. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in data analysis, particularly within the banking sector. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, design, and maintain effective PowerBI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making processes. The role involves analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can influence operational efficiencies and business growth. Based in the bank's Operations Business Management team, this is a hybrid role that combines technical expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including risk, compliance, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that enhance their analytical capabilities. As this role involves significant stakeholder interaction, excellent communication skills are essential to effectively translate technical data insights into understandable and actionable information for non-technical audiences. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, is essential. Strong expertise in PowerBI is mandatory, with a demonstrated ability to develop complex dashboards and reports that drive business insights. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools is also required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory compliance to effectively interpret and analyze banking data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as the role involves frequent interaction with stakeholders at various levels.
