Azure Cloud Engineer

Azure Cloud Engineer Location : London(hybrid) | Permanent Salary : circa £100k + bonus+ benefits

We're working with a leading global financial services firm to hire a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer in London. This is a newly created role, driven by a growing pipeline of cloud projects across the business. You'll be part of a global DevOps team , working day to day alongside a senior cloud engineer in London. It's a small, close-knit setup where you'll have real ownership and the backing of a wider international team.

What you'll do

• Deliver cloud, data, automation and application projects with business stakeholders and product owners
• Build, run and continuously improve AKS platforms across development, UAT and production
• Design and maintain reusable infrastructure as code in Terraform
• Build and own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
• Onboard applications onto the Group's Azure platform to its security and governance standards
• Work closely with developers and business teams to turn requirements into production-ready solutions What you'll need
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Good working knowledge of Azure: networking, identity, RBAC, Key Vault, monitoring
• Strong hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production, ideally AKS
• Solid Terraform experience: reusable modules, state management, refactoring
• GitHub Actions pipeline experience
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to have
