Role AI Systems Lead Location London / Remote Structure Employed / Fractional Status Open You currently work inside a mid-sized business — in digital, operations, or transformation — and you've been the person trying to push AI adoption further than anyone else had the appetite for. You know where the friction lives. You know what a real implementation looks like versus a demo. And you're wondering what's next. We're autotelica — a small team building AI operating systems inside companies. Not pilots. Not proof-of-concepts. Production systems that change how work actually gets done: workflows, decision layers, automation, knowledge infrastructure. We're growing, and we're looking for someone who's been close to this problem from the inside — and is ready to be on the side that solves it. The role sits at the intersection of client work and product thinking. You'd lead systems deployments with clients — running discovery, designing workflows, building with our tooling — while feeding back into how we shape what we build next. What we're looking for
• Experience running digital or AI programmes inside a business, not just advising on them
• Comfortable owning outcomes, not just deliverables
• Understands operations — how things actually get done inside companies
• Can hold a room with a COO or Head of Digital, and roll up their sleeves the same day
• Interested in early-stage: opinionated, hungry, and fine with building as you go Structure Employed or fractional — open to both Upside Partnership track for the right person Tooling Our own stack — Otto, Hydrate, KeyFlux — plus the full AI ecosystem Stage Early. You'd shape what this function becomes. We're a small team and this is a considered hire. We'd rather talk to five right people than fifty wrong ones.
