Pega React Developer

– PEGA React Developer (SC Cleared) Client: Public Sector Role: React Developer / PEGA Constellation Developer Location: UK Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 31 March 2027, with option for extension Security Requirement: Active SC Clearance (Mandatory) Role Overview We are looking for experienced React Developers with PEGA Constellation experience to support a large-scale Public Sector transformation programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and enhancing user interfaces, creating custom DX Components, extending Constellation capabilities, and delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly digital solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using React.js and PEGA Constellation.
• Design and build reusable UI components and front-end frameworks.
• Create and customize DX Components to extend standard PEGA Constellation functionality.
• Configure application UI, reusable sections, themes, and skins within the PEGA platform.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Development teams to deliver business requirements.
• Integrate front-end applications with APIs, backend services, and external systems.
• Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Participate in solution design reviews and recommend best practices for React and PEGA development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain coding standards and development best practices.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as required. Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js development.
• Experience working with PEGA Platform, preferably PEGA Constellation.
• Experience developing and customizing DX Components.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building reusable component libraries and responsive user interfaces.
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs and external services.
• Knowledge of PEGA UI architecture and Constellation best practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Active SC Clearance (Mandatory). Preferred Skills
• Previous experience within UK Public Sector environments.
• PEGA certifications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library. Candidate Profile
